| Emergency Response Training Associates, Inc., an American Heart Association (AHA) authorized Community Training Center, offers training in CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation), First Aid, and Automated External Defibrillator use. Initial and Renewal Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) training is also offered. This training is provided in our Woburn Training Center as well as on-site at your place of business.
The American Heart Association estimates that more than 335,000 people in the U.S. die every year of Sudden Cardiac Arrest, which is treatable on site ONLY with an electrical shock from an Automated External Defibrillator, or AED. This device is now available to businesses, schools, fitness clubs and even at home, for use by individuals trained in CPR and AED use.
Emergency Response Training Associates is an authorized seller of the Philips Medical line of Automated External Defibrillators and accessories, and can provide the equipment and training needed to combat Sudden Cardiac Arrest. In addition, ERT Associates can provide the prescription (authorization) required for AED purchase by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for all but home use, and Medical Oversight for your Public Access Defibrillation (PAD) program.
In addition to CPR and AED training and sale of AED equipment, we also offer training and continuing education for EMS professionals, in partnership with our affiliate, EMS Academy, located in Marshfield and Quincy, Massachusetts. Basic Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) courses are offered 3 times a year in our Woburn Training Center.
Emergency Response Training Associates is composed of healthcare professionals with a wealth of experience in emergency medicine, emergency medical services and pre-hospital care, and are all American Heart Association Instructors. We adhere to the AHA Guidelines and training programs, as well as the research and education efforts supported by the AHA.
